Return Policy

To start a return please use our customer portal HERE.

Returns:

  • Store Credit Only: We issue store credit for returns.
  • Initiation Timeframe: Returns must be initiated within 7 days of delivery.
  • Shipping Timeframe: You have 4 days to ship the item back after return approval.
  • Non-Returnable Items:
    • Items with a discount of 20% or more (including sale items).
    • Accessories
    • Swimwear
  • Late Returns: Items shipped back to us outside of the 4-day shipping timeframe following return approval will be returned to the sender.

Condition of Returned Items:

  • Items must be returned in original condition:
    • With tags attached
    • Buttoned up
    • Folded appropriately
  • Items must be free of:
    • Excessive human or animal hair
    • Smoke smell
  • Items must not have:
    • Makeup marks or smears (items returned with these issues may not receive full credit)
  • If returned items do not meet these requirements, the return may be denied.
  • If returned items are not in original condition, a $10 restocking fee will be deducted from your store credit.

Defective Items:

  • If you receive a defective item, please contact customer care at shopmusethreads@gmail.com within 2 DAYS of receiving the item.
  • Include a photo of the damage/defect with your email.
  • If we are not notified within 2 days, the item will no longer qualify for a return or replacement.

Other Important Information:

  • Shop The Muse is not responsible for damages to clothing caused by improper care or handling or incorrect sizing by the customer.
  • The exact colors of merchandise may vary due to photography lenses, indoor/outdoor lighting, and computer monitor resolutions. Clothing patterns may also vary. These situations do not qualify as defects, and the buyer will pay return shipping.
  • If you receive an email that your item was damaged upon return arrival, you have the option to buy another shipping label and get the item back.

Shop The Muse - Shipping Policy

  • Shop The Muse is NOT responsible for delays with USPS or UPS shipping.
  • Shop The Muse is NOT responsible for lost, damaged, or marked delivered items.
    • We carry up to $100 worth of insurance on all packages.
    • If you receive a damaged package or your package is lost, file a claim with the carrier:
      • UPS Claims Support (Google search for details)
      • USPS Claims Support (Google search for details)
  • Shop The Muse is not responsible for any delays caused by mail carriers and will not refund shipping charges if USPS or UPS does not meet their guaranteed shipping times.
    • Contact the carrier directly for delivery issues.
  • Once an item is dropped off at USPS, it is out of our control.
    • We have no affiliation with USPS and cannot control shipping times or delivery.
    • Contact USPS for any issues.
  • Please allow 1-3 days for your tracking information to show.
  • Please contact us after the estimated delivery time has passed.

Incorrect Address Disclaimer:

  • It is the buyer’s responsibility to ensure the shipping address is entered correctly.
  • We are not responsible if a package is shipped back to us due to an incorrect or undeliverable address.
  • If you need to cancel your order or change your shipping address, contact customer care via email at shopmusethreads@gmail.com !
  • If there is a problem with your tracking number or package delivery, please contact the courier directly before contacting us.

Order Changes/Cancellations:

  • We do not cancel orders or make edits.
  • The only way your order can be canceled is if it is canceled for store credit.

Redo:

  • Checkout Redo product for free unlimited returns for store credit on your order if needed and send it back for free if it doesn’t work. Exchanges are offered if you need a different size. This is only compatible with our website at this time.
  • Didn’t checkout with Redo? You will still return like normal and purchase a label through them with discounted shipping rates saving you time and money!

Customer Service and Dispute Resolution:

  • Our goal is your satisfaction. If you have any concerns or issues with your order, please contact our customer service team at shopmusethreads@gmail.com. We are committed to working with you to find a fair and reasonable solution. We encourage customers to contact us directly to resolve any issues before pursuing other avenues.
  • In the event of a chargeback, we will thoroughly investigate the claim and provide all necessary documentation to our payment processor to dispute the chargeback.
  • We reserve the right to pursue all available legal remedies to protect our business interests.
